What is Reiki? Reiki is a generic term for the Usui System of Natural Healing, Usui Shiki Ryoho, a hands-on and distant relaxation and healing method that uses universal life energy, the healing force found in all life to balance body, mind, heart and spirit through gentle touch and compassionate focus. Reiki is easy to learn, easy to use, centering and calming. Reiki is not a religion, but a healing meditation with ethical principles and both a history and a  present. At the end of a Reiki treatment most people relate that they feel both relaxed and energized at the same time -- like after a good massage.
